Extended Rear Tank Breather compatible with Synergy / Xtreme C6 Rear Tank.

Designed to help reduce coolant pushout through the rear tank breather during aggressive driving while still allowing the tank to vent properly. The extended design provides additional height and improved vent control helping reduce coolant loss, spillover, aeration, and some unwanted tank noise. When combined with the optional breather restriction modification included in the installation instructions, the setup can further reduce the amount of coolant that reaches and exits through the breather. This setup has been developed and tested on my own C6 ZR1 for years, including hard acceleration, hard braking, sharp left and right turns, drving up hill / down hill and extended donuts in both directions. During testing no coolant exited through the breather. Video footage of the testing is available.

Important: This product is designed to reduce coolant loss through the breather system. It cannot prevent leaks from unrelated areas of the tank, including the Beckson lid, lid seal, or lid base. This is a custom designed breather that’s compatible with the Synergy / Xtreme rear tank. This is an aftermarket part and is not manufactured by or affiliated with Synergy, Xtreme, or any other company.
