Team Lilliebridge
The Lilliebridge Family

TEAM LILLIEBRIDGE / THE LILLIEBRIDGE FAMILY has been a recognized name in powerlifting for decades. Ernie Lilliebridge Sr., Ernie Lilliebridge Jr., and Eric Lilliebridge built their reputations through years of competition, record setting performances, coaching, and strength training at the highest levels of the sport. Across multiple weight classes and federations, the family has accumulated All Time world records, national records, elite totals, and some of the strongest raw performances of their era. Team Lilliebridge was built around a simple philosophy, train hard, stay consistent, learn through experience, and let the results speak for themselves. What began as a family passion for strength evolved into a house hold name known throughout the powerlifting community.
Ernie Lilliebridge SR

Ernie Lilliebridge SR began lifting at just 10 years old and entered competitive powerlifting as a teenager. What initially started as a way to become stronger for martial arts quickly developed into a lifelong passion for strength training and powerlifting.
Over the following decades, Ernie Sr. competed across numerous federations and equipment categories, including raw, raw with wraps, and multi ply competition. His OpenPowerlifting history documents competition well into his 40s and includes organizations such as the APF, UPA, RPS, USAPL, WPC and others.
Throughout his career, Ernie Sr. established numerous national and world level performances while also becoming known for his ability to coach and develop other lifters. One of his biggest raw with wraps squats was 881lb, a performance for the All Time World Record Squat at 275lbs. OpenPowerlifting currently lists his database best raw with wraps squat at 400 kg / 881 Ib and his best raw with wraps total at 975.5 kg / 2,150 Ib. His recorded multi ply total reached 1,037.5 kg / 2,287 lb.
But Ernie Sr.'s impact goes far beyond his own lifting. As the father and coach behind Team Lilliebridge, he played a major role in developing both Ernie Jr and Eric from young lifters into internationally recognized powerlifters. His decades of competition experience, coaching knowledge and practical approach to strength training became the foundation of the Lilliebridge training philosophy.
